MiljonMapping - Terms Of Service

Quick summary

Short version: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery. I will not map or upload anything that breaks BeatSaver rules. No refunds once mapping starts unless Miljon cancel.

1. Payment

• All prices are quoted in USD.
• 50% of the total cost is due upfront before work begins.
• The remaining 50% is due on completion, before final delivery or publication.
• Payments accepted via PayPal only.
• Payments are non-refundable once mapping has started, except where Miljon cancels the project.

2. Delivery & Revisions

• Estimated delivery times depend on package choice and map complexity.
• Minor fixes are accepted within 7 days of delivery.
• Major revisions or full remaps are not included unless explicitly agreed beforehand.
• Deadlines are estimates; Miljon will communicate delays promptly.

3. Ownership & Usage

• Miljon retains ownership of the custom beatmap data (notes, lighting, map files) and may upload it to BeatSaver or use it in a portfolio.

4. BeatSaver Compliance

All commissioned maps must comply with BeatSaver’s Terms of Service and Content Policy. By commissioning Miljon you confirm the following:

• You will disclose if automated note-generation tools were used (AI or auto-generated content must be declared).
• You will not ask Miljon to create content that violates BeatSaver rules (copyright infringement, explicit adult content, hate speech, or advertising/monetization within map metadata or descriptions).

If a commissioned map would violate BeatSaver policy, Miljon will refuse or cancel the project. Any such cancellation may be handled without refund at Miljon’s discretion. If BeatSaver removes a map post-upload for policy violations, Miljon is not responsible for restoring or refunding the upload.

5. Communication

• Primary contact channels are Discord and email.
• The Client should respond to requests for approvals or information within 48 hours when possible.
• Unprofessional or abusive behavior by the Client may result in immediate termination of the commission without refund.

6. Cancellations

• If the Client cancels before work starts, the upfront payment may be refunded at Miljon’s discretion.
• If Miljon cancels for any reason, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.
• If the Client supplies incomplete, infringing, or unusable materials, Miljon may cancel the project without refund.

7. Liability

• Miljon is not responsible for third-party outages, hosting issues, or data loss after upload.

8. Agreement

By checking the Terms of Service box and submitting a commission request, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms, and that the commissioned work will comply with BeatSaver’s Content Policy.
